Especially popular with younger children but suitable for all ages, the museum exhibits thousands of toys from around the world, with plenty of hands-on activity for enthusiastic visitors.

The musuem occupies two floors of a former elementary school, and different former classrooms are set up with different exhibits - science toys, puzzles and board games, a "wooden toy forest", a toy factory and lots more. Special exhibitions are scheduled throughout the year to show off parts of the museum's huge collection.

The museum shop is worth a stop on its own, carrying an intriguing selection of beautifully designed wooden toys, Russian nesting dolls, unusual games and unique small toys from around the world.
