The exhibitions at this small museum focus on archaeological finds and fine arts from the Ancient Near East (Egypt, Mesopotamia) and Central Asia (the Silk Road). Standing in the entranceway is a replica of the stele of the Code of Hammurabi from the 18th Century BC, covered with cuneiform writing, while the rooms beyond are filled with ancient pottery and other artifacts, including many reproductions. Special exhibits are held three times a year covering various topics.
